Jimmy Clausen

James Richard "Jimmy" Clausen (born September 21, 1987, in Thousand Oaks, California) is an American football player. He is a quarterback at the University of Notre Dame. and is one of the candidates to replace Brady Quinn as Notre Dame Fighting Irish starting quarterback.

Clausen, who graduated high school one semester early, enrolled at Notre Dame on January 16, 2007. He will compete for the starting quarterback job with then-junior Evan Sharpley and then-sophomores Demetrius Jones and Zach Frazer when spring practice starts.
